Hi! I am from Pennsylvania, but I currently travel weekly for work. We have had 3 long successful term Houseboys and while every situation and agreement is different I pay what the national average is listed for an Au Pair. Here in the US it's roughly $200 per week, then give them room/board and cover any travel that they do with us or meals out. We do not cover phone expenses or auto expenses. Viewing messages takes time to load and viewing profile visits takes a long time to load (like do something else and come back to see if it's loaded).

He added a fourth - all fake, all immediately want to go to google chat and want to come to you right way - they just need money. Doesn't even put any effort into it. Asks nothing expect when can you send him money.

I would really like to find a houseboy that needed a place to stay and did not want money in advance. There is only one that I thought may have been legit, but then he stopped talking to me. Some say they want a salary. I have never had a houseboy and I do not know what to expect to pay a houseboy.

I have to agree and I wish I had learned my lesson earlier in time. And that is true with Silver Daddies as well. If someone has the money to hire a houseboy, I would suggest that you fly out to interview them if they are serious. And since so many of them are in NY or California, I would suggest setting up interviews with them and give them a couple hundred dollars for their time, it's the right thing to do, and I mean ONLY for an interview, not a road test!!!!!!! Treat people with respect from the start and hopefully they show you the same respect and trust. Then you know you have found a gem.

I fell for a post by an Employer in Jacksonville, FL wanting to find a new situation for his current House Boy due to a changing family situation. Ultimately the House Boy asked for money to pay for his Grandmother’s funeral. When I wasn’t able to help he ghosted me.

Confirmed - this guy is a scammer. He sent me the same passport pic. It eventually turned into a plea for help to pay a hospital bill and it just kept getting more and more elaborate. His user profile on here is JeffryGles.

I have found MOST of these guys are after your money. One fast way to check is to do a picture search. Most of the ones I turn up are Russian models. when you look at the pics, look at the clothes he is wearing. if they look too new, start thinking MODEL look at the room he is in or the back ground outside, if it looks like a set for pics, if it looks too perfect, start thinking MODEL one immediate stop go is to have him take a picture of himself holding something with a date, news paper, and or driver license with pic and address. THIS WILL IMMEDIATELY STOP COMMUNICATIONS normally because they can't do it. ALSO put up your guard if they start talking about family passing away, family being really sick or anything out of country. INSTANT RED FLAGS. Some of the scams have pretty good, believable scripts, they will try to drag you along with believeable lifes adventures. again start paying close attention to the pics, what he is wearing, his surroundings. What the little scammer is up to is to get you to fall for him heart and soul, then he got you and he knows you would be willing to take a chance, DONT The rule is DONT send any money. If you think you have the one, have HIM pay for the trip to you. You can reinburse him after arrival if you need to but dont pay for transportation to anywhere. If this is a money scam, they don't care how small the amount is that you send as long as they can get you to send. And trust me when I say they have incredibly believable stories to make you fall in the trap.

It’s loaded for me plenty of times in the past just fine, not taking long at all and popping up almost immediately But at least a year ago now it stopped working for me. Now it doesn’t show, not even after an hour. It times out after 3 min or something. Just sad - I’m glad I stopped paying for the service every month
